The election to the 21st German Bundestag will be held on 28 September 2025. Upon the recommendation of the Federal Government, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier issued the order regarding the Bundestag election on 23 August 2024 (Federal Law Gazette 2024 I, no. 271).
