2024 European election: 59 lists of nominated candidates submitted within the prescribed time limit
WIESBADEN – The Federal Returning Officer reports that 40 parties and other political associations had submitted their candidate nominations in the form of common lists for all the Länder for the 2024 European election to the Federal Returning Officer by the deadline of Monday, 18 March 2024, 6 p.m. Ordered by date of receipt of the lists, these are:

The Federal Electoral Committee will decide on the admission of lists submitted for all Länder and for individual Länder on the 72nd day before the European election (section 14 (1) of the European Elections Act). The meeting of the Federal Electoral Committee, which will be open to the public, will therefore be held in the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders Building of the German Bundestag in Berlin (entrance Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße 1), Room 3.101, on Good Friday, 29 March 2024, at 11 a.m.
