Final result
WIESBADEN – The Federal Returning Officer reports that, at its meeting on 20 June 2014, the Federal Electoral Committee determined the final result of the 2014 European Election for the Federal Republic of Germany.
With a voter participation of 48.1 % (2009: 43.3 %), the parties obtained the following shares in the total number of valid votes cast:

In the 2014 European Election, the share of invalid votes was 1.6 % (2009: 2.2 %).
Of the total of 751 seats in the European Parliament, the Federal Republic of Germany accounts for 96 seats. According to the official final result, the following parties and other political associations will be represented in the 8th European Parliament with the numbers of seats shown below.

Hence no changes occurred when compared with the provisional result of the 2014 European Election.
