Information for voters
Voters’ register and residential move
Only those who are listed in a voters’ register or have a polling card may vote.
Voter’s notification
A voter’s notification informs those eligible to vote that they have been entered in the voter’s register.
Postal ballot
Persons entitled to vote who are entered in a voters’ register do not need a specific reason to exercise their right to vote by post. To this end, they have to apply for a polling card to be issued.
Representative electoral statistics
Representative electoral statistics are used to analyse the voting behaviour, namely the voter turnout and the votes cast by sex and year of birth groups.
